Alys stood up and walked about the room, holding Cormac in her arms. For some reason her six month old son just would not settle. She had had time enough for a wash and now she wore a simple Irish Dress in blues and greens and had hoped to return to the entrance way, where perhaps should meet some of the other Chancellors without the Formality of the Conference. Alys looked at her son as her too had had a wash and now wore clean clothing and made a swift decision. She turned towards the young woman who had traveled with her. "Would you please unpack us, and make certain the wrinkles come out? After that you are free for a while." She gave Mari an indulgent smile. "And yes you may continue to read the book you started."
She settled Cory a bit more firmly against her shoulder, then descended down the stairs. Her eyes looked about to see who might be there.
