Knightly Order Conference Room

A room was prepared by the castle staff to meet Dame Caitilin's specifications. It must be a round table in honour of a great past knight.. she ordered. Each in attendance is equal and shall be honoured as knights of their respective order.

Cait joined her husband, the Grand Knight Marshal of the Knights of England. Seeing that noone had arrived yet, she slipped her arms around Baldar and kissed him softly. The taste of wine was still on his lips.

Are you ready, my beloved? I am looking forward to a good bit of discussion. I'm glad King Faheud could return to have the opening remarks. She looked up lovingly into his eyes and smiled. I am so very proud to be your wife. Cait nodded to the page as he handed her a goblet with the Lusignon coat of arms etched in the silver.

King Faheud, refreshed and ready for excellent work headed down to the world conference chambers to do His part in kicking off the talks.

He saw Dame Caitilin and Sir Baldar already present and nodded to them agreeably.

"Well met! Let me know when it is time to begin for I have much to say that will perhaps start off the talks on an energetic note!"

A blush rose in her cheek when his Majesty enter. Caitilin quickly place the goblet down and curtsied to her King. Your Majesty, welcome. I hope you are well rested. She nodded to the page to prepared a goblet for the King. May I offer you a cup of some very good wine or a honey mead? She smiled. Or perhaps something in the way of a fine aged whiskey? If only to take away the chill.

Having cleaned up and changed gowns Princess Ghostwriter walked to the Conference room to see who was already arrived, knowing the time was nigh for proceedings to begin. Entering she smiled to see King Faheud already present, as too were Baldar and Caitilin.

Your Majesty, she curtsied as she reached his side. If I may... and sat in the chair beside the King and then she looked round, the room elaborately decorated and the table impressive.

Everything looks ready Sir Baldar, Princess Ghostwriter said smiling pleasantly to him.

Dame Caitilin nodded to Ghostwriter as she entered the room. Dame Ghostwriter, I'm glad you could attend. Please pass on my congratulation to your husband for his rise to a most honoured position of Knight Commander. May I ask if Sir Seamus will be here for the conference or will you be speaking as the sole authority of the Knights of the Realm? I would be very interested in hearing his thoughts on knightly orders. Caitilin picked up her goblet and took one of the open seats around the table.

The King was sipping at a drink when Manfred turned up with a rare, flustered look.

"Message for you Sire," intoned the man as he handed over an official liiking packet.

What's all this?" inquired the king as he opened it. He looked up in surprise.

"Princess Ghostwriter, we seem to have a live one here. An ambassador from Devon and member of the Royal Guard, Viscountess Zywiec was slain with her entire entourage in France , by Breton armies.... Her party had permission to travel freely it would seem."

I am most sorrowful to inform you that I am now DEAD for 45 days. I have yet to research who these people are that killed me, but I will find out and report to any and all who will listen. I was escorting Father Kiane who was here in France to study. We received permission to travel, but obviously that means nothing to Armies who are set to kill anyone in their path.

The news made Cait rise from her chair. OH! my dear Jah! One of England's finest attacked and murdered in France? May I, your Majesty? She asked to read Manffred's missive more closely. Dame Zyweic, is the chaplain for the Knights of England. I was getting concern as we have not had word from her in some time. Now I see why. Cait let the parchment drop to the table and looked hopefully in the King's face. What can we do to help Majesty? My sword is ready and at your bidding.

Princess Ghostwriter turned to look at the King as he opened a packet handed to him, leaving answering the Lady Caitilin for the immediate moment, aware something of import was being relayed to the King. Seeing his surprise she reached across and took said documents.

If I may Your Majesty, Princess Ghostwriter said gently, bowing her head in respect. Quickly she scanned the document and then looking back at the King she shared his surprise.

Who could have done such a thing? Shocking Sire. If she is needing translation I can assist... my French is fairly good Sire, and it would save time finding a translator.

Glancing at their hosts the Princess Ghostwriter spoke quickly. Our apologies to you both.

Please could you call me the Ambassador of France, Lord Sindbad, or any of the French delegation to come immediatly, in to the conference room

As the servent rushed off to follow his orders, Baldar walked to the King, Sire may I see the names of the attackers and I will immediatly ask our informats in France about them.

Nyxan had received her orders from the KoE. She quietly entered the Knight's Conference room and silently took a position near the door. Her job for the moment was to observe.

The King passed the detailed missive over to Sir Baldar for his perusal.

Audrey stepped into the Knight's Conference room. Dame Caitilin, Your Highness, Dame Ghostwriter. I am on my way to the Knight's Conference Sign-in. Audrey bowed to them, then left the room.

Cait nodded to Apprentice Audrey Rose and relaxed knowing all would be at their assigned station. Thank you Audrey. Will you locate his Excellaecy, Ambassador Sindbad, and asked him to please join us?

Ken had heard the Conf would soon be begining he found his way to where it was going to be taking place. Finding the room he already saw some folks gathered already including the King and Princess Ghost and Dame Caitlin, walking in he gave his respect to the king and Princess Ghost

"Your Majesty, Princess Ghost" he said with a smile.

Ken had been asked to come to this order of Knights by Sir Baldar and to open up the Conf with some opening remarks. Finally he has had got word that the Meeting was ready too start. He walked to the room it was taking place and then gave his respect to the various people there

"Greetings and Welcome everyone to this meeting of the various knightly orders. I like to introduce myself for those who might not know who i am. My name is Lord Kenrich Stewart Tudor am i am His Majesty's Lord High Constable for England i am charged with working with the various orders in England and those who would eventually petition for High Honors status. I myself just recently Knighted by His Majesty and i belong with the Knights of the Realm. I want to thank Sir Baldar for the invitation here and to be able too speak." he said.

"I have had the great pleasure with working with many Knight orders in the nearly one year i have been Lord High Constable and working with the various knights in England to create a document in England that finally gives the crown and the various orders something that has est. What it takes to obtain high honors from the crown. While this was just the first step i hope that this document can grow and other things be added such as a high honors court of sorts in case a knight does something that might cause them too loose there title as a knight, while this idea has been brought forth i have yet to begin to work on it, as well as dealing with such things as if a order looses all it leaders at once. These are just some of the things i have been and want too work on. Every order is different with there own history and procedures some are new others have been around for a very long time. Some are more military suited others Religious. But all have the same thing in common we believe in a code of virtures that we all hold very dear to our hearts.

In closing i hope during this meeting we can continue to grow and new partnerships are formed and prehaps we can work on bettering the system I look forward to talking to everyone here and listening as well." he said

Before looking at Lord Baldar and Dame Caitlin before taking his seat.

Morat arrived slightly late. He had heard muffled bits and pieces from earlier conversations. As he came in he listened to the Lord High Constable make his introduction. Respectfully he waited in the back and gave the man his full attention until the speech was concluded. When the knight was done Mor stepped forward.

"Hello," he bowed to Dame Ghostwriter and again to the rest of the room. "Your Highness, My Lords, My Ladies. I am Sir Morat Mackenzie Keeper of the stone of the Knights of Ireland. I represent the order as it's unified voice and hand of guidance. When I heard there was a chance to make contact with such a collection of fellows, I could not pass up the opportunity. After a long trip I am here and very much excited. I look forward to sharing ideology, tips, and the like. But I also look forward to getting to know those who share similar values to my brethren back home. I hope as Sir Kenrich Stewart Tudor said, that we can form partnerships. But if nothing else, this conference may serve to remind us all to keep up the noble and just fight. By showing each other that we are not alone."

Moratt looked around to be sure that his words were not out of place and that he had been at the very least inspiring. Although he was beginning to look forward to when the meeting would turn towards more practical discussion, he was excited to hear the other introductions. And to learn a bit about his counterparts attending the meeting.

Falcon enters the room quietly as to not disturb the discussions. He nods to the KoE members present and to his good friend Sir Kenrich of the KoTR, then makes his way to Sir Dandolo. Sir may I introduce myself, I am Sir Philip Falconfire de Stryke and couldn't help but over hear you speaking of the incident in Brittany. I am leaving for there in a couple days and would very much like to increase the relationship between the English Knights and other world orders. I am a Knight of the Crown as well as Knights of England. I believe as Knights we have a responsibility to work together for the good of all.

My trip to there is to make contact with Lady Zywiec and Father Kiane and escort our people back safely. I would ask your help on how I might obtain safe passage. I assure you I come in no military position. I would also like to increase the communications between our orders. As a 5 time Capt. of the Royal Guards here myself it would also be interesting to meet your Lady also, maybe swap some interesting stories.
